This product uses the NX9261 audio and video switching processing chip, which routes four sets of audio and video signals to one set of audio output through the I2C digital interface and high-performance control processor NX6316. Its typical applications include satellite set-top boxes, high-definition televisions (HDTVs), personal video recorders (PVRs), A/V switches, security devices, media centers, and in car entertainment systems, routing multiple devices to a single audio and video device.
The NX9261 audio and video switching processing chip provides four sets of audio and video inputs, which are routed to one set of audio and video outputs through the core processor. Input to output routing is controlled through an I2C compatible digital interface. Each input supports an integrated clamping option to set the output to synchronize the video's tip level to 300mV. Alternatively, the input can be internally biased to the center signal without synchronization of approximately 1.25V (chromaticity, Pb, Pr). These DC output levels are used for 6dB gain setting. A higher gain setting will increase the corresponding level of DC output. Select input clamping/bias mode via I2C. Unused outputs may lose power to reduce power consumption.
